There seems to be this emerging trend coming out of London that the more unique the restaurant, the more popular it will be.
While this may sound pretty obvious, HipChips may be the most extreme take that we’ve seen on that trend.
Situated on Old Compton Street in Soho, HipChips has been around since 2016 and is still as popular as ever. As you may have already guessed, HipChips serves some of England’s favourite potato chips.
For the Americans reading, please do not this confused with your French Fries, these are the true British potato chips, the way God intended them to be.
While the chips are pretty standard (and you can choose between Sweet Cinamon Sugar and Savoury Salts). You go to HipChips for the dipping sauces because they are out of this fricking world and they definitely should be at £6.95 for a medium portion.
How about these for unique dipping sauces – Banana Mousse with Rum Caramel, Jerk Sauce, Campfire S’mores, Katsu Curry and so many more to enjoy.
